Thanksgiving is just a few days away! So today, we're sharing a festive treat that would be perfect for distracting your pups while the turkey is being carved ;) To make a batch of Thanksgiving Shooters, you'll need only two ingredients, pumpkin puree and beef broth (grab at least a standard size can of each), and this fun mold.
To get started, pour beef broth into your shot mold and freeze until firm (at least 4 hours, but overnight is even better). To help your shots slide out easier, prime the mold by running it under the sink. Meanwhile, pipe out as many pumpkin swirls as you have shots, and pop those into the freezer as well.
Now to assemble the shooters. Carefully pop your shots out then fill them to the brim. We filled ours with more pumpkin, but yogurt, peanut butter or this puree also would also make for tasty surprise fillings. Finally, top each shot with a pumpkin swirl and serve.
Pierogi went nuts for these!
