Do your pups like carrots? Pierogi would eat carrots for breakfast and dinner if we let him! Gill tried carrots last week and gobbled them up as fast as his brother. Today, we're sharing an easy springtime dog treat that looks only like a carrot...
To make these Springtime Carrot Dog Favors, you'll need:
- Large Clear Cone Cellophane Bags
- Green ribbon
- Orange-ish bite-size dog treats (Sweet potato or cheese treats tend to come in hues of orange)
For each favor, you'll need about 1 cup of treats for a generous portion (almost to the top) and about 10 inches of ribbon.
Then, just fill up your bags and seal them by tying a bow. We used three different treats to make our favors and made various size "carrots" with different size dogs in mind.
These would be the perfect thing to bring along to Easter brunch for all the dogs in your family, or to give to pals for no reason at all!
Speaking of Easter, do you have any plans? What about for this spring?
Woof! (Hey, there!) Pierogi, Gilly and Sarah here. Thanks for stopping by our dog blog. We're a little dog-obsessed around here and Pierogi & Co. is all about inspiring you to enjoy the dog days. Because life's more fun with your best (furry) friend by your side. So grab a bone and follow along as we stop to sniff the flowers...
