We were hit with yet another snow storm last Sunday. So what did we do? We packed up our puppy and his favorite big red ball and headed to the dog park! Snow was still falling as we drove and Pierogi looked out the window for the entire ride. He seemed fascinated, but I wonder if he really was... When we got to the dog park, we broke out Pierogi's "favorite" big red ball... But he couldn't have cared less about the ball. He had sniffing around to do! Our favorite dog park is HUGE - it's around 66 acres and there's still areas that we haven't explored. (Nevermind. I just Googled the size of New York's Central Park...our dog park isn't that big ;) Anyways, at our dog park, there's multiple entrances leading to different areas. This time, we decided to unleash our beast away from the main action to see if he would figure out that all of the spaces eventually connect. He did and this is the moment that he realized it! Bye, Pierogi! Pierogi in his happy place. Also, despite the weather, there was a birthday party off to the side for a handsome Golden Retriever. The Golden and his family come to this park every year to celebrate his birthday. There were balloons and a cake and cupcakes, which they kindly shared with us. Isn't that the sweetest thing? We didn't stay too long at the park because not all of us have fur. So when we had our fair share of the snow, we ran to the car where heated seats and fluffy blankets welcomed us back. Love ya, pal.
