What's new with you? Life has been quiet for us since the holiday, but we're not complaining! We've had time for backyard bonfires, watching movies (have you seen Spiderman?!) and going for long(ish) walks. Here's a few more things that have been going on in Pierogi and Gilly's world recently...
- The black and white-tailed night crawler struck again! Pierogi got skunked (Gilly somehow dodged it), and although it was no more fun than the first time, we were far more prepared. Mike and I moved so swiftly that you might have thought that we had been rehearsing the drill our entire lives ;) The moral of the story is, the boys now have a backyard curfew and we're keeping our eyes on the skunks!
- Gilly missed his puppy school graduation :( After he caught something like a human cold, we had to sit out. Luckily, we've still been able to practice some of the same training at home. And, overall, I'm so glad that we were able to start the opportunity (we plan to restart classes shortly). Also, Pierogi attended a different facility for his training, so it was interesting to compare some of the training theories and methods.
- Last week, our town flooded to our knees! It was a wild storm, but we're still afloat! Pierogi and Gilly acted so brave during the storm and intently watched the whole thing play out from inside. Although once the storm passed, our backyard basically became their private splash pad and they sprinted and splashed around until they were completely caked with mud. Good times!
- And finally, little Gilly's birthday is just over a month away! How time flies (x2)!
P.S. How funny is the Hawaiian shirt that Pierogi's wearing? It's handmade by Glam Pups Apparel and we'll be sharing more soon!
Woof! (Hey, there!) Pierogi, Gilly and Sarah here. Thanks for stopping by our dog blog. We're a little dog-obsessed around here and Pierogi & Co. is all about inspiring you to enjoy the dog days. Because life's more fun with your best (furry) friend by your side. So grab a bone and follow along as we stop to sniff the flowers...
