During the days of only having one dog, dog hair didn't bother me much...
Besides, Boston Terriers don't have long hair to begin with. So to me, it was manageable. But these days - the days with two sweet dogs, it seems that every surface in our house is covered in dog hair! Do you ever feel that way? I've found hairs in my coffee mug, worked into my own head of hair, in the bath tub, in my pockets and everywhere else imaginable. Gilfoyle has pushed us into the land of there's-dog-hair-everywhere!
One of the most noticeable areas in our house that collects dog hair is our couch, and I know our couch isn't the only one! PG (Pre-Gilly), I managed the dog-hair situation with lint rollers and vacuuming, but now that's not enough.
Recently, I picked this dog bone shaped sponge to try on our couch. It's just a sponge, just like it appears to be, but it's been a great little maintenance tool. It's far more convenient than grabbing our vacuum from our basement and is more practical than going through an entire lint roller at once. It would be the perfect thing to include in your quick cleanup arsenal that you rely on for when you get that "Hi! I'm in the neighborhood..." text.
Here's just a few swipes on our couch. Not bad, right?
What tools do you rely on to keep your home fur-free? We'd love to know!
