Shortly after Pierogi came home, I picked up this binder in attempt to organize the handouts and records that we were amassing. I filed a few of his medical records then, but never really revisited the binder after that. Then, I wrote about dog info sheets and an urge to organize suddenly swirled through me. (I actually downloaded the Pet Printable Kit from Kayla Zimba Printables.)
So I took everything out of the binder and started from scratch. I eliminated unnecessary papers and divided what was important into five categories. Then I made dividers and tabs (hole punched circles, labeled and taped to the fronts of dividers) from those categories. I stuck most sheets into page protectors, placed bacon stickers everywhere and then my work was complete! Here's how the binder came out...
The inside of the binder has a clip, perfect for holding this very important announcement :)
Filed under the Dog Info tab: general information and contacts
Filed under the Medical tab: health history and vaccination logs and receipts from our vet
Filed under the Training tab: training articles. At the end of every training class, our trainer usually gives us a few articles relevant to what we learned that day. Sometimes the articles are actually cute cartoons often by Lili Chin, which I love reviewing!
Filed under the Sitter tab: a few blank note sheets to have ready for when we go out of town
Filed under the Emergency tab: information on our emergency vet and Pierogi's microchip
